It was business as usual for Gino D’Acampo as he returned to social media to promote his latest cookbook amid a series of misconduct allegations.

The Italian chef, 48, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a clip in which he can be seen making honey-glazed cod with lemon and garlic.

He declares that the recipe from his new collection is not only “perfect for Valentine’s Day” but also “super easy and tasty”.

His gorgeous dog even makes an appearance in his reel.

D’Acampo’s alleged behaviour on various TV shows was described as “horrendous” by those making the allegations in an ITV News investigation last week.

The former This Morning star reportedly told a female colleague he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter” in one alleged incident in 2011.

Another woman alleged “aggressive” behaviour by D’Acampo on a location shoot, claiming he opened the door in his boxers and made reference to his genitalia.

He is also said to have fallen out with fellow TV chef Gordon Ramsay, who reportedly stopped talking to him after raising concerns about his “disgusting” behaviour two years ago.

The two starred together on TV show Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip and Ramsay is said to have been left “horrified” by what he witnessed.

“Gordon was horrified with what had gone on and felt it was time to step in and stop it. He has three daughters and a wife, Tana, who he absolutely adores and felt it was disgusting,” a source told MailOnline.

He wanted to change those ways but then it led to difficulties between them. Gordon found there was a lot of unacceptable behaviour going on, he saw things he didn’t think were okay so he spoke up.

The insider added: “That was that, friendship over.”

D’Acampo said of the allegations: “I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied.

“I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.”
