After winning three games in a row, United were beaten at home once again in their last outing, losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League. The result left Amorim’s side 13th in the table, but United will have a break from the league this weekend with the FA Cup fourth round taking place.. After beating Arsenal on penalties in the third round, United were drawn against Leicester City at Old Trafford, where Ruud van Nistelrooy will return but this time in charge of the Foxes. Amorim’s side have won their last four meetings with Leicester, most recently a 3-0 win in the Premier League.. Lisandro Martinez has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury, while new signing Patrick Dorgu could make his debut. So, could United make it to the next round of the FA Cup later today? Let’s take a look…. Man United vs Leicester City score predicted. To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.. We predict that United could set up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Bayindir; De Ligt, Maguire, Yoro; Amad, Ugarte, Mainoo, Dorgu; Garnacho, Fernandes; Zirzkee.. We predict that Leicester could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Stolarczyk; Justin, Coady, Faes, Kristiansen; Soumare, Winks; Buonanotte, El Khannouss, Dercordova-Reid; Vardy.. A few chances fell Leicester’s way in the opening stages as the visitors looked to take an early lead, but vital blocks from Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro denied Jamie Vardy twice from close range to keep the score level. After riding the early wave of pressure, United took control of the game, and just before the break, Amorim’s side went ahead.. Bruno Fernandes made it 1-0 to United (Image: EA Sports). As we’ve seen so often this season, Amad was at the heart of the goal, with the Ivorian picking up the ball on the right and weaving his way through a sea of bodies towards the box. The winger cut inside before rolling the ball into Bruno Fernandes’ path, and the midfielder’s first-time shot took a wicked deflection off Conor Coady as it swerved away from the ‘keeper and into the bottom corner.. Just after the restart, United were awarded a penalty when Joshua Zirkzee beat Coady to the ball in the box before being taken out by the defender. The Dutchman stepped up to take the resulting spot kick, and a calm finish saw him chip the ball down the middle to make it 2-0.. United thought they topped off the performance with a third goal in the 90th minute when Alejandro Garnacho poked Amad’s cross in at the far post, but the flag was raised..
