Appearing on Peacock’s hit reality series, the adventure-loving producer has quickly become a fan favorite, charming viewers with his genuine personality, faithful gameplay, and easygoing charm.
When asked how he’s enjoying the newfound attention and heartthrob status, Dylan tells The Standard: “I’m riding the wave. I just, I had so much fun, and I’m a fan of the show, so it’s really like the dream was being able to be there and experience it all.
“I was myself. That’s the coolest feeling. It’s like I wasn’t putting on an act. I wasn’t trying to put on a show. So what you see is me, and I loved that.”
Though reality TV can be cutthroat, the 33-year-old stayed true to his core values, navigating the game with authenticity. His advice to the UK celebs taking on the Celebrity edition of BBC’s The Traitors later this year? “Yeah, you can game plan all you want. It’s gonna go out the window the day you show up.
“So be authentic and try to be friends with as many people as you can. I had a strategy going in and literally threw it out the day I got there. So, yeah, just be a good person, because that’s the biggest thing.”
While Dylan’s gameplay kept viewers on their toes, it was his on-screen dynamic with Summer House star Ciara Miller that really set the internet buzzing. Fans couldn’t help but notice their chemistry, leading to a flurry of online speculation and shipping prior to her exit from the game show this week.
The Bravo star remained coy when asked about the online commentary about them on a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live!. “I adore Dylan. I think that he is great,” she said. “He’s such a sweet soul.”
Now responding to the chatter, Dylan said with a smile: “She’s, yeah, she’s gorgeous. She’s honestly very attractive, and her personality is even better.”
So, could we see Dylan swapping The Traitors castle for the Summer House? “I watched the first episode. I got some more research to do,” he teased.

As fans wonder what’s next for the US star, talk of an acting career isn’t off the table, though he doesn’t expect to be rivalling his older brother, 38, anytime soon.
“No, if anything, I have a huge respect for actors, like my brother. Because I know it’s a skill set. I know I’m not going to play Ted Bundy in my first role,” he laughed, referencing his sibling’s acclaimed portrayal of the notorious serial killer. “I can play a role that’s similar to me. Like Into the Wild—give me that role, I can crush that. Luckily, there are a lot of roles that are like me.”
Though acting is a potential path, Dylan remains passionate about adventure shows. “I’ve changed my jobs a thousand times. I’ve been a writer, a stunt guy, a producer. I like to see what’s next. I could see a little acting, but my bread and butter is adventure shows. I love traveling and I love learning new things.”
His love for adventure is well-documented. He worked as a producer and co-starred alongside Zac in Down to Earth with Zac Efron, exploring sustainable living across the globe. His career has also included work on blockbuster sets like Ready Player One, The Accountant, Live by Night, and American Sniper.
And that next adventure could be Celebrity Bear Hunt series two. His brother Zac previously filmed an episode of Running Wild in 2014 with Bear Grylls, and Dylan is more than ready to follow in his footsteps.
Celebrity Bear Hunt, which launched on Netflix earlier this month, quickly became the platform’s number one most-viewed show. The series sees 12 celebs take on adrenaline-fueled challenges in Costa Rica while evading Bear in a sprawling outdoor area ominously named The Bear Pit.
Speaking on the red carpet of F1 75 Live, he told us: “Anything with Bear Grylls, sign me up. I’ve been watching him since I was a kid. I would do anything out there.” Even when faced with the idea of enduring some truly stomach-turning survival tactics—like drinking his own urine—Dylan didn’t flinch: “Look, I’ll do it,” he smiled. “I’ve done a lot worse off camera.”
