Nevermind the game, all eyes will be on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift this Super Bowl Sunday as speculation he is going to propose reaches fever pitch.

Kelce’s team the Kansas City Chiefs are aiming to win a historic third straight Super Bowl when they go head-to-head against the Philadelphia Eagles at the weekend.

The 35-year-old tight end’s superstar girlfriend Swift has been his biggest supporter since their love story started in 2023 and she will naturally be there to support him at the New Orleans Superdome.

But could he be set to reward her loyalty with an engagement ring? The bookies certainly think so as he was previously 6/1 to ask Swift for her hand in marriage at the high-profile sporting event, but it’s now just 3/1 that he pops the question.

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “It appears that a Super Bowl band isn’t the only ring on Travis Kelce’s mind ahead of Sunday’s big game. His alchemy with Taylor Swift is undeniable, and a history-making Super Bowl win could be the ideal moment to take their relationship into its next era.”

Kelce played coy during a press conference on Wednesday when asked directly about the possibility of him getting down on one knee.

“A Super Bowl ring?” he asked feigning innocence, before adding: “Next question”.

Even if he shouldn’t seek to make an honest woman of the Shake It Off hit-maker on this particular occasion, there will still be plenty to keep the crowds entertained.

Lamar has previously guested alongside Dr Dre in 2022 but will have the stage to himself when he performs on February 9.

Meanwhile, Jon Batiste will sing the national anthem of the United States of America, The Star-Spangled Banner.
