Marseille remains interested in signing Paul Pogba, as a transfer did not materialize in January. The former Manchester United midfielder, who has won the title twice, is presently a free agent and cannot play until March. Pogba’s suspension from football will conclude with just two months remaining in the season, following his positive test for a prohibited substance. The original four-year suspension was reduced, allowing Pogba a chance to return to high-level professional soccer. While there have been rumors, particularly from former players, about him potentially returning to Old Trafford, it appears that Manchester United has not seriously considered negotiating a deal. In 2022, Pogba departed from the club for free for the second time after his contract expired.
