Atalanta’s Ederson is seen as a potential replacement for Rodri’s absence from City’s midfield, but his club, currently leading Serie A, is reluctant to let him go. Douglas Luiz, a former City midfielder now playing for Juventus, has been mentioned as a possible loan candidate. It’s also reported that Guardiola likes Crystal Palace players Adam Wharton and Eberechi Eze, while Anthony Gordon has also been added to the list of targets for City.
