Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez may not be available for Manchester United’s upcoming match against Arsenal, as the team has not secured an away win in 11 weeks. As December approaches, United still hasn’t managed to win away since their 3-0 victory at Southampton on September 14, which was seven away matches ago. In fact, that is their only victory away from Old Trafford this season, as they have also drawn five other away matches. One of their more impressive draws was the scoreless match at Aston Villa on October 6, which was the last time Mainoo participated. He sustained a muscle injury near the end of the match and has missed the last 10 games for United. READ MORE: Manchester United gets a boost regarding Leny Yoro’s injury. The 19-year-old has resumed training and has been included in the matchday squad for both of Ruben Amorim’s initial games in charge after the international break in November, but has not yet played. Meanwhile, Martinez has come back from a slight lower back problem that caused him to miss Argentina’s matches this month on Thursday. He played 60 minutes in United’s 3-2 victory in the Europa League against Bodo/Glimt, which was Amorim’s first match at home. Martinez is anticipated to participate in the game against Everton on Sunday, while Mainoo might see his first action in almost two months. Nonetheless, both players may still miss the match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium the following Wednesday. They currently have four yellow cards in the Premier League, and a fifth will result in a one-match suspension. If that happens against Everton, they will miss the match against Arsenal. The limit for yellow-card suspensions increases to 10 only after a team’s 19th league game.
