United turned the game on its head in next to no time, taking a 3-1 lead into the break via a James Scanlon double. The contest was put beyond all doubt just five minutes after the restart when Obi-Martin scored his second and United’s fourth, tapping in Gabriele Biancheri’s low centre after Chelsea made a hash of playing the ball out from the back. The Dane completed his hat-trick 14 minutes later, bundling the ball in after Chelsea failed to deal with a free-kick..
