Cuffing season is upon us, and in celeb world that means all the new couples are out in full force. Over the weekend, Olivia Wilde was pictured cosying up to Caspar Jopling while out on a walk in Primrose Hill – accompanied by her dog.
Naturally, this has sparked renewed interest in both Olivia and Caspar’s love life. Olivia previously dated Harry Styles, and has two children from her ex fiancé Jason Sudekis. Meanwhile, Caspar was previously married to Ellie Goulding.

Who is Caspar Jopling?
Caspar Jopling is an art dealer – and according to his LinkedIn, he has some pretty impressive credentials under his belt. He graduated from Harvard in 2014 with a BA in History of Art and Architecture and Film Studies, and has an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Jopling worked in contemporary art development and strategy at Sotheby’s, before taking on a role as a Strategist at White Cube gallery – his uncle, Jay Jopling’s, gallery.
He grew up in Yorkshire, and turns out he has some high-profile relations himself. His father is the Honorable Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire, whose own father is politician Thomas Michael Jopling — a member of the House of Lords in the United Kingdom.

Rumours started circulating last month, after Caspar and Olivia attended W Magazine’s New York Fashion Week party together. A few weeks later, they were pictured kissing after a three-hour dinner date at The Pelican in Notting Hill. A source told Page Six  the pair ‘seemed very comfortable and relaxed in each other’s company’ and ‘kissed passionately in the street like a pair of teenagers… before getting into the same taxi.’
Another source told Mail On Sunday: ‘Caspar’s friends think they are falling in love. Now they are ready to be open about their relationship so you can expect to see them out and about together more often.’

Who has Caspar Jopling dated in the past?
Caspar Jopling was previously married to Ellie Goulding for four years. The pair met in 2016 through mutual friends and gradually got to know each other before their relationship took off. The couple got engaged in 2018, with Jopling penning an adorable message at the time on Instagram:
‘I get to spend the rest of my life with this truly extraordinary and beautiful, beautiful person. No one has ever made me feel more full of life, knowledge, happiness, or love. There is no one I have ever been more complete with and there is no one I will ever feel more complete with,’ he wrote.
They got married in 2019 in a star-studded ceremony, which saw Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom attend as guests. In 2020, Ellie also opened up about their ‘mature’ relationship to Glamour magazine. ‘We talk things through, and we never argue. … We talk about why we might disagree on something,’ she said.
The couple appeared to be going from strength to strength after they welcomed their son Arthur together in 2021. However, last year the pair confirmed they were going their separate ways after split rumours started circulating in 2023.
Caspar addressed the news on Instagram stories, writing: ‘Hi people – hope you’re having a good day. I feel (sadly) that I need to say something on mine and Ellie’s current relationship… that I hope more than anything will make any final tabloid speculation disappear. Ellie and I made the decision to separate some time ago. Our immediate family and close friends have known for some time – otherwise we chose to do what we could to keep this private.’ He added that he and Ellie remain ‘the closest of friends’ and ‘most importantly “co-parents.”‘
