With parents like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, it’s no surprise Sunday Rose is becoming a star in her own right. This week, she walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week for Dior, one year after she made her debut at Miu Miu.
It came just days after news broke that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had separated after 20 years of marriage. The news was first reported by TMZ, who cited sources saying the pair have been living apart since the beginning of the summer.
Nicole and Keith married in 2006, and alongside Sunday share daughter Faith Margret, 14. Kidman is also a mum to Isabella and Connor, who she shares with Tom Cruise.

Who is Sunday Rose?
Sunday Rose is the first daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. The couple welcomed Sunday in 2008 in Nashville, with Nicole admitting her first trimester was full of ‘severe morning sickness.’ In a sweet post announcing Sunday’s birth, Urban wrote: ‘Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in theirthoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.’
She might have some of the most famous parents in the word, but Sunday has had a pretty grounded upbringing. Speaking to Nylon in August this year, Sunday said her parents didn’t let her pursue modelling until she was 16, and that school was the focus. She told the outlet she’s ‘really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset’, even though she ‘hated’ them at first.

At Paris Fashion Week 2025, Sunday Rose walked for Dior’s spring/summer 2026 collection. Speaking backstage to Vogue in March, Sunday admitted she’d managed to squeeze some practice in during school hours. ‘Whenever I’m walking down the hallway I feel like I’m strutting down to math class,’ she said. ‘Everybody will be like, “I see you’re doing your runway walk.”‘
However, she doesn’t just have modelling credentials. In the interview with Nylon, Sunday Rose said filmmaking has been her ‘dream career’ since she was 5, adding that she was hoping to study it in college. She told the outlet her favourite movie is Parasite, saying ‘I’ve watched it at least four times and am just in love with the cinematography and how carefully crafted the story is.’ She has also appeared in The Angry Birds Movie 2, Big Little Lies and The Undoing.
What has Nicole Kidman said about Sunday Rose?
Nicole and Sunday share a close bond. In May this year, Nicole opened up about their family dynamics in an interview with Allure. ‘I sit on their beds and discuss the most intimate things; I get to be their guide,’ she said. ‘If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can. I’m able to apologize to them. I’m able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It’s nice to be able to say that.’
