The latest national GP Patient Survey, carried out by Ipsos for NHS England, found that 75 per cent of respondents across England said they had a good overall experience at their GP practice.
Thatās up slightly from 74 per cent in 2024.
Locally, some practices in Bexley scored well above the national averageāwhile others fell behind.
Lyndhurst Road Medical Centre in Barnehurst came out on top, with 93.37 per cent of patients rating their overall experience as positive and just 2.34 per cent negative.
Close behind were Northumberland Heath Medical Centre (89.23 per cent positive) and Woodlands Surgery in Sidcup (85.45 per cent positive).
At the bottom of the list was Sidcup Medical Centre, where only 52.4 per cent of patients said they had a good experience.
More than 32 per cent of patients there said their overall experience was negativeāthe highest figure in the borough.
The national results show modest improvements in access and satisfaction, particularly in how patients book appointments.

Seventy per cent of people said their overall experience of contacting their GP was good. This is up from 67 per cent last year.
Louise Ansari, chief executive at Healthwatch England, said:
āItās promising that this yearās findings show modest increases in peopleās overall experiences of GP… However, our recent research shows there is a gap between the choices people want and the ones they get.ā
