
The roads will be closed to all vehicles from August 11.
The council has not specified an end date for the closures, stating only that they could last for a maximum of 18 months.
The closures will affect streets where the bridge work is being undertaken, as well as any adjacent roads.
Traffic signs will be used to indicate closures.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets where possible.
Access to properties will be maintained where possible, and emergency access and egress routes will remain open at all times.
The council has said that any vehicles which wait in contravention of the restrictions may be removed under the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The order will not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works, nor will it apply to instructions given by police officers or civil enforcement officers.

The road closures have been implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The council has stated that the closures are necessary to allow Network Rail to complete the essential work.
As part of the closures, no vehicles will be allowed to wait in any street specified in the order.
Vehicles will also be prohibited from proceeding in any of the streets listed, or any adjacent streets.
One-way systems will be implemented in some areas, with vehicles only allowed to proceed in the direction indicated by traffic signs.
The council has stated that these prohibitions will not apply to cul-de-sacs.
The road closures will only apply during such times and to such an extent as indicated by traffic signs.
The order will come into effect on August 11, 2025, with no specified finish date.
The order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, and works will begin on or after the commencement date of the order.
Access to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure.
Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
Nothing in the order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.
