Police search for suspects after gunshots fired in Tulse Hill

Police were called just after 6pm on Friday (July 25) to reports of gunshots on Norwood Road.

Officers, including armed police, attended and searched the area.

While no suspects or victims were found, officers did recover evidence of a firearm being discharged.

No arrests have been made at this time, and enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or message @MetCC quoting CAD 6159/25JUL.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 18:03hrs on Friday, 25 July to reports of gunshots in Norwood Road, SE24.

“Officers, including firearms officers, attended and searched the area.

“No suspects or victims were identified, but officers found evidence of a firearm discharge.

“No arrests have been made.

“Enquiries continue.

“Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or message @MetCC quoting CAD 6159/25JUL.
