The Reform UK candidate received 1,342 votes, defeating Ian Frederick Payne of the Local Conservatives, who garnered 1,161 votes.
Labour’s Elizabeth Hookway Morgan secured 720 votes, while Laura Christine McCracken of the Liberal Democrats received 540 votes.
Ruth Fabricant of the Green Party finished with 185 votes.
The by-election, held on July 24, saw a turnout of 28 per cent.
