Chaos reigns as the Jessops return to BBC One for a third season of the sitcom Here We Go.
From bungee jumps to riverside baptisms, the extended family must navigate new jobs, love, loss, and anniversaries.
Written and created by Tom Basden, who plays Robin, the series stars Jim Howick as dad and new police constable Paul and Alison Steadman as grandmother Sue.
All the while, the trials and tribulations of the Jessops’ daily lives are caught on the hand-held camera of teenager Sam, who is also trying to do his A-levels.
Baden said: “You can follow the Jessops through the stages of life as you do your own family.
“We obviously take the Jessops to weird and wonderful places and put them in difficult and funny situations.
“But there’s always a kind of spine to the show of those stages in life, stages in family life that everyone goes through, that everyone can relate to.”
Who is in the cast of Here We Go season 3?
Tom Basden

Tom Basden plays Robin, Rachel Jessop’s downtrodden brother.
The British actor, writer, and comedian is the creative force behind the show, both writing it and starring in it.
Speaking about his role in the show, he said: “Robin is attempting to grow up in series three.
“He’s attempting to be a more serious figure, someone who is a role model for his son, Atlas, who appears as the series goes on.
“I would say he’s somewhere between a 13-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man.”
The 44-year-old also co-wrote and starred in the 2025 film The Ballad of Wallis Island.
And he has had main roles in Plebs, which he created and wrote, Mandy, After Life, and W1A.
Jim Howick

Jim Howick stars as Paul Jessop, husband of Rachel, father of Sam and Amy, and now a policeman.
Actor and writer Howick, 46, is best known for his roles in Horrible Histories, Ghost, Peep Show, and Sex Education.
Discussing playing Paul, he said: “Despite the relentless ridicule, I think he believes that he already has his family’s respect.
“He maintains that they look up to him as an athlete, a responsible adult, a beacon of inspiration!
“Of course, we know that really he’s none of these things.”
Alison Steadman

Alison Steadman stars as Sue Jessop, Paul’s Liverpudlian mother, who moves into the family home.
The veteran British actress will be best known to television audiences as Pam from Gavin & Stacey. But the 78-year-old is also the star of Mike Leigh’s films Nuts in May, Abigail’s Party, Topsy-Turvy, and Secrets & Lies. She has also appeared in Fat Friends, Crapston Villas, Pride and Prejudice, and Boomers.
On her role in Here We Go, she said: “She’s a great character and she’s always full of fun.”
Tori Allen-Martin

Tori Allen-Martin takes on the role of Cherry, Robin’s vain fiancée and new mum to Atlas.
Talking about the character in season three, she said: “Her priority is trying to look good.
“As you can imagine, in true Cherry fashion, she’s not that interested in anyone other than herself, including her own child, so she likes baby Atlas the most when he’s asleep and when someone’s saying he’s cute, other than that, she’s not that bothered.
“She dumps him on the Jessops a lot.”
The British actress starred as DC Billie Fitzgerald in London Kills and Sandra Rayworth in Unforgotten.
She has also appeared in The Flatshare and Pure.
The cast of season three of Here We Go also includes:
- Freya Parks as Amy Jessop (This Town, Vera)
