
The incident between a large group happened in Venner Road just after 11.10pm yesterday (July 15).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found two boys who had been stabbed.
They were taken to hospital for treatment where their conditions were assessed as non life threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 23:11hrs on Tuesday, 15 July to Venner Road, SE26 following reports of a disturbance.
“Witnesses reported seeing a large group fighting in the street.
“Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and two 16-year-old boys were located with stab injuries.
“Their injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD9095/15JULY.
