A burst water main has left thousands of homes in south east London without water.
The main on Ilderton Road, SE16, has affected homes in SE1, SE5, SE8, SE11, SE14, SE15, SE16, SE17, SW4, SW8, and SW9.
A Thames Water spokesperson said: “We’re currently dealing with a burst water main on Ilderton Road, SE16.
“Sorry if your tap water wasn’t flowing properly this morning.”
The spokesperson said Thames Water teams are currently on site working to isolate the section of pipe that requires repair.
They said that water pressure is already returning to the area, and most customers should begin to see their supply come back over the next hour or two.
However, some properties have reportedly been affected by flooding.
