Free parking at a Bromley car park will soon be scrapped.

The London Borough of Bromley has announced changes to the charges at Crown Lane Car Park.

From July 21, there will be parking fees at the car park, which currently has free parking.

Charges will apply between 7.30am and 6.30pm.

For up to one hour, there will be a charge of 60p, for one to two hours £1.20, for two to three hours £1.80, and for three to four hours £2.40.

For parking longer than four hours, there will be a £3 charge.

Residents can purchase season tickets for £150 for the year.

Season tickets can also be purchased for £55 a month, £156 quarterly, £292 for six months, or £546 for a year.

The changes are part of the council’s (Off Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2008.
