
The incident happened at Station Road at the junction of Lewisham High Street just before 8.15am today (June 15).
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended, however, the male was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as unexpected.
Station Road remains closed and a cordon is in place as officers establish the full circumstances.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 8.13am on Sunday, 15 June to reports of a male injured after falling from a height in Station Road, SE13.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. The male was sadly pronounced dead at the scene at 08:17
“His death is being treated as unexpected.
“Station Road remains closed and a cordon is in place as officers establish the full circumstances.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.09am today (15 June) to reports of a person who had fallen from height at Lewisham DLR Station, in Junction Approach.
“We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene.
“The first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes.
“Sadly the patient died at the scene.”
