Two men arrested after suspicions of ‘brothel’ run in Sidcup residential home

Police attended Leechcroft Avenue on Sunday (June 8) at around 4pm after concerns raised about the activities at a property on the road.

Two men, in their 30s and 50s, were arrested on suspicion of keeping a brothel used for prostitution.

They have since been released on bail while investigations continue.

Officers were seen at the property throughout the Sunday and yesterday (June 9).

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police attended an address on Leechcroft Avenue, Sidcup on Sunday, 8 June at around 16:00hrs following concerns raised surrounding activities at the premises.

“A man in his 50s and a man in his 30s were both arrested on suspicion of keeping a brothel used for prostitution.

“Both suspects were released on bail while enquiries continue.”
