
Police were called to the Underground station just before 2pm today (June 10).
TfL reported that the casualty happened on the Bakerloo line, which was completely suspended for a short period.
Officers rushed to the scene with paramedics and a man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident is not being treated by police as suspicious.
The London Ambulance Service was contacted for comment.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Piccadilly Circus Underground station just before 2pm today (10 June) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, and a man has been taken to hospital.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
