As he once promised, Arnold Schwarzenegger is back – this time with a second season of Fubar.
The Netflix action comedy about CIA agent Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger) is returning with more secret service antics and family drama, this time with Carrie-Anne Moss as a German spy named Greta Nelso.
Nick Santora, who created the show, told Netflix’s Tudum: “Season 2 is bananas. “We’re coming up with some real fun surprises for FUBAR fans in Season 2, for sure.”
While Schwarzenegger said: “It is bigger, it is better.
“There are more laughs. There is more of everything … including one more legend!”
Fubar, which is the military acronym for ‘Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition’, is about a father and daughter who discover they both secretly work for the CIA, leading to high-stakes missions becoming entangled and awkward family dynamics.
Who is in the cast of Fubar season 2?
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as Luke Brunner, a veteran CIA agent and the father of Emma – who is also an agent.
The Austrian-born bodybuilder-turned-actor, 77, has enjoyed a long career in acting, starring in blockbuster films such as The Terminator, Commando, The Running Man, Predator, Total Recall, True Lies, Twins and Kindergarten Cop.
He also served as Governor of California for eight years.
Fubar is his first foray into a television series since 2021’s Superhero Kindergarten.
Carrie-Anne Moss
Carrie-Anne Moss plays Greta Nelso, a former East German spy who has history with Luke.
The Canadian actress, 57, is no stranger to big action films such as The Matrix films, Red Planet and Knife Fight.
On television, she played Carrie Spencer in Models Inc., Katherine O’Connell in Vegas, Jeri Hogarth in Jessica Jones, Athena Morrow in Humans and Indara in The Acolyte.
Monica Barbaro
Monica Barbaro appears as Emma Brunner, Luke’s daughter and a CIA agent.
The actress, 34, starred as Joan Baez in the 2024 film A Complete Unknown, a role for which she was nominated for an Oscar.
She has also appeared in the films Top Gun: Maverick and At Midnight.
On television, she played the main role in of Yael in Unreal and Cora Vasquez in The Good Cop.
Travis Van Winkle
Travis Van Winkle is Aldo Reece, a fellow CIA agent who works alongside Luke Brunner.
The American actor, 42, is known for playing Cary Conrad in the television series You and Danny Green in The Last Ship.
He has also appeared in Rites of Passage, Last Call, Bloodwork and Road House.

When is Fubar season 2 on Netflix and how many episodes are there?
Season two of Fubar comes to Netflix on Thursday 12 June.
All eight episodes of the new series will be available on the streaming service from 8am (BST) on the day.
Fans will need a Netflix subscription to watch, which starts at £5.99 per month, but it does mean they can also catch up on season one – which is still available to stream.
