Teenage boy in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by car in Crayford

The emergency services were called to Crayford Way at 4.45pm today (June 6).

An air ambulance also attended before flying to King’s College Hospital.

Crayford Way remains closed.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police are currently on scene of a collision on Crayford Way, Crayford. 

“Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at 16:45hrs on Friday, 6 June following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian. 

“The pedestrian, a teenage boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

“A closure remains in place at the location.”

The London Ambulance Service has also been contacted for information.
