Ruben Amorim has made drastic Man United decision already to get rapid tactical boost

Ruben Amorim is making changes at Manchester United by dividing his coaching staff into specialized departments to quickly implement his philosophy, according to reports. The Telegraph reports that Amorim has designated specific team members to focus on defence, midfield, and attack, which helps players promptly understand his tactical approach. He has brought a large support staff to Old Trafford, including assistant Carlos Fernandes, goalkeeping specialist Jorge Vital, and members Adelio Candido, Emanuel Ferro, and Paulo Barreira. Coaches Darren Fletcher and Andreas Georgson, along with assistant goalkeeping coach Craig Mawson, are maintaining their positions from Erik ten Hag’s era. In an unusual shift, assistant Fernandes is not leading the training as is typically done; rather, Amorim’s selected coaches are focusing on particular player groups as a temporary approach. Following a close 3-2 Europa League win against Bodo/Glimt—marking his first victory after a debut draw with Ipswich—Amorim shared his appreciation for the warm welcome he received at Old Trafford, even though he is less recognized. He expressed his sincere thoughts, stating: “The first thing is that half of the stadium doesn’t really know who I am. I came from Portugal and haven’t done anything for this club yet.” The way they create a sense of home for me is truly special; it’s not about something that comes after, but rather something that happens beforehand. “This is something unique.” I will hold onto this for the remainder of my career.
