Jadon Sancho has performed much better at Chelsea compared to his time at Manchester United. It’s still early, but the evidence supports this. He recorded five assists in all competitions for United after 65 games, whereas he accomplished that in just seven games with Chelsea. Although he participated in both Europa League and Champions League matches with United, his Premier League performance was not as noteworthy, as he never surpassed three assists in a single league season. At Chelsea, he has already equaled that total in just six Premier League games. Although some might claim that Sancho’s recent assists came against less challenging teams, it is significant that he hasn’t performed well in terms of delivery during the Carabao Cup and FA Cup for United. The data indicates that Sancho is excelling at Chelsea more than he did at United. Also see: Ratcliffe needs to reconsider after United’s price increase. In his final Premier League match for the Blues, which was a fairly uneventful game for the 24-year-old against Liverpool in October, he had a good chance of earning a penalty. Enzo Maresca’s decision to bring in a more fitting winger like Pedro Neto instead of Sancho is not a knock on Sancho. There are matches where Sancho is the obvious choice and others where he isn’t.
