His contract at the Theatre of Dreams expires in the summer of 2026 but the conflict between Erik ten Hag and the winger could force him out of the club.. In September last year, Sancho declared himself to be a ‘scapegoat’ at Old Trafford after Ten Hag blamed the 24-year-old’s training performances for his absence from the squad that lost 3-2 at Arsenal. The Englishman was subsequently banished from first-team training after refusing to apologise for the tweet but he did choose to delete the post from his social media.. Despite signing Sancho for £72.9m, United would be willing to accept offers of more than £30m at the moment. When asked about the winger recently, Ten Hag said: “We are close in that process [of monitoring Sancho].. “We are visiting games, not only yesterday. We visit, I would not say all the games, but we have seen more games from Dortmund where Jadon was performing there.. “We also had a visit with him, we had a talk with him during his stay there and we will keep going with this process, we will continually be in contact and communicate with them. There was a conflict (between Sancho and Ten Hag) and let’s first finish the season.. “He is not here now, so stay away from this issue now because it is not important. He has the return of the semi-final, for them also in the league it is not going that well for them and we have four important games in the league and the FA Cup final.. “So that is the issue and the focus point in this moment and then we will see in the summer what is going to happen.”.
