A report stated that United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe had ‘encountered’ Neves’ agent, who is the well-known ‘super agent’ Jorge Mendes, in order to ‘talk about’ the potential transfer of the young player. Additionally, United received a boost in the form of an injury update before their FA Cup match against Coventry. United must make a decision regarding an £86 million investment in light of rumors about a potential double signing. Neves has performed exceptionally well for Benfica this season, making 50 appearances across all competitions and contributing three goals.
