Willy Kambwala has heaped praise on Manchester United’s matchwinner against Liverpool on Sunday, Amad Diallo.. The Ivorian scored in stoppage time of extra-time to seal a thrilling 4-3 FA Cup quarter-final victory over United’s fierce rivals, ending their bid for a historic quadruple in the process. Diallo has made just four appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side this season, having enjoyed a successful loan spell at Sunderland in the Championship during the 2022/23 campaign.. But the 21-year-old became United’s hero on Sunday, scoring just his second goal for the club to set up an FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City at Wembley. The forward will miss United’s next fixture, a trip to Brentford on Saturday, March 30 in the Premier League, after being sent off following a second yellow card in celebrating his dramatic goal. He will however be available for the semi-final against Mark Robins’ Coventry in April.. Diallo revealed after the game that he had forgotten that he had already been booked. He told ITV: “I forgot the first yellow. I’m very disappointed for that, a red card, but the most important for me is to win and against a big team like Liverpool is a big, big moment for me.. “Everyone came to me and said congratulations. I want to thank everyone, the fans were superb all game.”
