Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho fires one-word message after Borussia Dortmund Champions League win

Jadon Sancho of Manchester United sent a brief message after scoring the first goal in Borussia Dortmund’s win against PSV. Dortmund secured their spot in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, defeating Peter Bosz’s team 2-0, with Marco Reus sealing the victory with a goal in extra time. Sancho has been outstanding in the recent win and has scored two goals since coming back to Germany. His future at United is likely to be settled this summer, as the 23-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract with the club. He has been playing for United since a victory over Nottingham Forest in August 2023. Gareth Southgate has clarified why Kobbie Mainoo is not part of the England squad. Furthermore, Omar Berrada could provide a £77million boost to Manchester United and help them avoid losing an important dispute. Yesterday evening on Instagram, the English player posted a photo holding a Man of the Match award and captioned it with: “Quarterfinals!” In November, Ten Hag accused Sancho of lowering his training standards, a claim that the former Chelsea player denies. He then went on Instagram to dismiss the allegations and has since had to practice by himself at Carrington, separate from the rest of United’s main team players. “I hope he is doing fine.” Ten Hag expressed his well wishes for Sancho’s future success as the footballing operations at the club are now under the control of new minority owner Jim Ratcliffe. Tough decisions regarding Sancho’s future will need to be made by the INEOS boss.
