Despite being sidelined with a knee injury, Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has still been called up by Argentina. He has been out with a foot injury since September and has missed most of the current season. The center-back was recovering for almost four months after getting injured before finally returning to play for United in January. He only participated in three Premier League matches before injuring his knee against West Ham on February 4. United has announced that Martinez will be out for an additional eight to 10 weeks due to a knee injury. He is expected to rejoin Erik ten Hag’s team in early April.
