Borussia Dortmund boss reveals ‘long conversation’ with Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho

Edin Terzic, the manager of Borussia Dortmund, has commended Jadon Sancho for his determination to improve and return to his top form. Sancho, who was not in the first-team squad at Manchester United, rejoined Dortmund on loan in January. Despite starting six out of eight available Bundesliga games, Sancho’s performances have been inconsistent as he works to regain his peak performance level. United are facing a widely-discussed issue which their manager, Erik ten Hag, may not be able to solve. Three players will be returning for the match against Liverpool. He is not just fixated on reaching his goal; he is also appreciating the overall performance. “Although he hasn’t scored recently, it is clear that he is progressing towards achieving his goal.” We understand that he is not completely recovered, but we will help him reach full health. Sancho was signed by United for £73 million in the summer of 2021 from Dortmund but his performance in Manchester did not meet expectations, even before he was sidelined from the squad. Before returning to Dortmund, he only managed to score 12 goals and provide six assists in 82 games for United.
